how to monitor topology with WMI polling

I've recently started switching my polling to WMI from SNMP for my windows devices and I noticed that topology and routing is not an option when I list resources to select what to monitor. How do I monitor topology with wmi or do I have to give up topology?

Topology information is collected by default for all WMI managed nodes. There is no check box under "List Resources", but this information is indeed collected for WMI nodes as the image below shows.

Routing information is only available for SNMP nodes, but really provides no value for Windows Servers. That is unless you're using your Windows Server as a router, which is fairly unlikely. If you want to know the default route/gateway for a Windows host (which is essentially all you would see under routing for a Windows host) you can find that same information located under the "Network Interfaces" resource of SAM 6.0's Asset Inventory (pictured below).
