Execution of external app or vbscript wont work!!!

when i am trying to execute an external application or an vbscript on an advanced alert they dont work, i already change the properties of the service as suggested in other discussion and still nothing.

You will need to setup an account that has access to the Folder as well as where this script is executing. Assuming that this is executing on a different system you will need to use a Domain account that has permissions on the Orion and the Remote "test" system. Then I would do the following:

1. Log in as the User account that you will be using for the Solarwinds Alerting Service.

2. Make sure the script works for the current user when you run it manually.

3. Go into Services.msc and Right click on the Solarwinds Alerting Service, select the Log On Tab and change the Account to This account and enter in the same Domain\User and Password, then restart the Service.

4. Test the Alert Actions and make sure that it works.
