NTA 2.1: Hotfix 1 corrects performance of the NetFlow sources resource in environments with greater than 50 NetFlow sources

SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer version 2.1 Hotfix 1

Hotfix 1 corrects the performance of the NetFlow sources resource in environments with greater than 50 NetFlow sources.

This hotfix requires NTA version 2.1.

To install this hotfix, complete the following procedure:

1. Extract the TrafficAnalysis-Z001-WebSite.zip
   file from this zip file to the directory
   where Orion was installed, by default
   this is C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion.

2. Run the Orion Configuration Wizard and
   click the Website Tab.

3. Complete the website section of the Configuration
   Wizard. There is no need to complete the Database
   or Services sections.

I followed the 3 steps above without success.
The new resource file in the hotfix was not installed in the TrafficAnalysis\Resources\ folder on the webserver.

I copied the new resource manually to the TrafficAnalysis\Resources\ folder and it now seems to work.

In step 1, did the zip file TrafficAnalysis-Z001-WebSite.zip end up in c:\program files\solarwinds\orion or some other directory?

I see where I went wrong now. I extracted the content of TrafficAnalysis-Z001-WebSite.zip to c:\program files\solarwinds\orion instead of putting the zip file in this location.

I did it in the correct way and it worked.

I did the same exact thing wrong! Read the directions very carefully...... They are right on.
