Switch port mapper v9.3 unable to administrativley disable the interface

recently upgraded to 9.3 and installed the hotfix for switch port mapper. Since the install I've been unable to select a port on the switch and administrativley disable the interface. (greyed out) where on the prior version i was able to. I am using the read/write community string. Has anyone else seen this issue?

drburge - Yes, this was a bug introduced a couple versions back. We are looking to get this corrected in an upcoming release. You can use Realtime Interface Monitor to enable and disable interfaces in the meantime.

has there or will there be a fix for this yet? currently using the latest verion and this still does not work right

Drburge - There currently is no patch available, and it is scheduled to be fixed in the next major release of Toolset.

In the meantime, there are a few other apps in the Toolset that can enable / disable interfaces:

Network Performance Monitor
Real Time Interface Monitor
IPNetwork Browser

Where can I find 9.3 of Switch Port mapper? All I find is 9.2 on the Solarwinds web site. Do you have a link?

mkomeara - If you download the latest version of the Engineer's Toolset, it will contain a few zip files that are hotfixes to the installation. SwitchPortMapper 9.3 can be found in one of those zip files.

this is strange, I have performed the same installation and i still get the option to disable an interface as being greyed out. Still won't work for me. any suggestions? running ver 9.3.0.103 July 2008 on switch port mapper
