Scenario is that I have two servers that have the Orion platform installed. Server 1 has modules NTA, NCM, NPM, Security Event Manager, and Server and Application Monitor. Server 2 has IPAM and VNQM. Of these two Orion platform servers, can they reference the same database so that the nodes installed are available to be referenced by each other.
For example, if I am trying to add a DHCP server into my IPAM module, it must exist as a node. In my case I have the DHCP server defined as a node on Server 1, but want my IPAM module installed onto Server 2 to have the ability to see that node? Is that possible?
As it relates to VNQM, similarly if I have VNQM running on Server 2 and I am setting up an SLA operation, I will need it to reference a node that is defined on Server 1; again is this possible?
I'm being asked to keep these servers distinctly separate. Thoughts?
Thanks
