Is it possible to create a customized monitor in DPA for local and remote database replication? Has anyone done this?
Can you elaborate on what you would expect such a solution to look like? Are you meaning some custom metrics?
I'm interested in this as well. I would like something where I can monitor the general health of transactional replication. Maybe setup alerts if replication breaks or if the latency reaches a certain threshold.
When we set up transaction log replication, jobs and alerts were automatically created that handled this, assuming you have Database Mail configured.
