Using Multiple Message text filters

Hi,

the setup I have is that when our WAN goes down we have a 3G failover,

this works correctly and reports to kiwi syslog. my problem is that I'm trying to have 2 message text filters.

I created 2 message text filters (filter 1 looks for text "DHCP Client", filter 2 looks for text "Interface WAN"

Right now the filters only work (report to the display) if I only have one filter checked; If I use both then nothing is reported, If I use the complex and select to include "DHCP Client" and "Interfance WAN" it still displays nothing. How can I use 2 message text filters?

For each rule, the message is matched against the specified filters. Starting from the top most filter and working down. If any of the filter conditions fail, the program stops processing that rule and moves on to the next rule. If all the filter conditions are met, that is they all return TRUE, then the program will perform the specified action or actions for that rule, in order starting at the top most action and working down.

Instead of multiple filters, use a simple one line filter. It is useful for matching a single or multiple strings of text or IP addresses in the incoming message. By including multiple quoted search strings, it is possible to match String-A OR String-B.

Include: "DHCP Client" "Interface WAN"

Matches on either "DHCP Client" *or* "Interface WAN"
