I have some Cisco AS5350XM's that for whatever reason (maybe IOS version) have a difference between the startup-config and the running-config but only in the order in which the options are shown. They do this even after a write mem BTW.
Example:
Running:
!
application
service vru-leg flash:bootstrap.tcl
paramspace english language en
paramspace english index 0
paramspace english location flash
paramspace english prefix en
!
service new-call flash:bootstrap.vxml
paramspace english language en
paramspace english index 0
paramspace english location flash
paramspace english prefix en
!
service handoff flash:handoff.tcl
paramspace english index 0
paramspace english language en
paramspace english location flash
paramspace english prefix en
!
!
Startup:
!
application
service vru-leg flash:bootstrap.tcl
paramspace english language en
paramspace english index 0
paramspace english location flash
paramspace english prefix en
!
service new-call flash:bootstrap.vxml
paramspace english language en
paramspace english index 0
paramspace english location flash
paramspace english prefix en
!
service handoff flash:handoff.tcl
paramspace english language en
paramspace english index 0
paramspace english location flash
paramspace english prefix en
!
!
Note the service hadoff where the two lines are reversed. I have managed to fix every compare isue on my network except this one using the regex exclusion criteria.
Some of the criteria I have tried are:
Using these two:
\s\sparamspace english index.*\r\s\sparamspace english language.*
\s\sparamspace english language.*\r\s\sparamspace english index.*
Anyone have any ideas as to what I can try? As a stopgap I would even accept something that would ignore all paramspace lines but I can't even get that to work. It seems to be something to do with multiple lines containing the same text I think.
Thanks
Jerry
Update:
Also tried .*paramspace english (la|in).* which should select only the two lines that are reversed and which also works on several online regex testers but does nothing on NCM.
