Monitoring SolarWinds VMM

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to monitor the virtual appliance with something other than ICMP. I use IPCHECK to monitor critical systems, is there a service I can monitor on the virtual appliance that I can use?

If you can configure IPCHECK to alert on certain processes I say would the tomcat6 process and postgres processes are the most important for the hyper9 functionality.

tomcat6 being the http provider service and postgres being the backend data stores for the hyper9 collection jobs.

Sorry its been so long. I forgot I had posted this. What IPCHECK looks for is Windows services which Tomcat6 is. I dont see it in Linux but I can monitor the webpage so that is good enough for me. Thanks for the help.
