Scanning for DHCP Servers
Oct_7
Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to look for the DHCP servers in a network? I tried to use the port scanner. I tested the method by scanning the network for any computer with port 67 openned, but did not succeed as known DHCP server has port 67 marked as close. Any idea to get the list of DHCP servers?
A little additional question. When reading the toolset help file, I read that there is a tool that can scan the network on a periodical basis to get the updated network. But I forgot what toolset it is or there is no such tool?
Thanks,
Regards,
