Simulate carriage return (enter) on a script

I'm trying to made up a script that deletes a file from a switch 2950 flash. The thing is that manually, you need to press "enter" twice for confirmation and when I run the script, the switch is waiting for the confirmation and the job times out.  Did any of you know how to work on this.

Nevermind;   I used the filename on the first prompt and "y" on the second one.
