Greetings friendos,
I have been investigating our IPSLA database and, specifically, the VoipJitterOperationResults_* tables and VoipJitterOperations view.
Unlike most of the other rollup tables the Daily and Hourly tables don't have weightings or reading counts attached to them, so it seems like any average for say, packetloss, that crosses the rollup threshholds will be inaccurate as a consequence. Am I missing some further information buried in another, linked table?
Also, could I request some help in interpreting the PacketLossSD and PacketLossDS data - our operations all are configured with Number Of Packets = 10, but both of these columns contain records which aren't multiples of 10 (contra the Packetloss column) that is always a multiple of 10 as expected. Rather, PacketLossDS and PacketLossSD have values that are approximately decimal representations of 11ths as a percentage(9.1, 18.18181818, 27.27272727 etc). Why for the discrepency?
