WPM downloading instead of displaying

I am trying to use WPM to connect to a URL that is returning application/json data. Rather than just displaying the text, WPM is downloading it. Is there a way to prevent this? The returned data is simply a line of text with a status of a web cache. Any ideas?

BTW, I am using WPM 2.2.1.

WPM uses Internet explorer which by default downloads JSON data. I found a post that mentions some registry settings that may force it to display the content: jquery - How can I convince IE to simply display application/json rather than offer to download it? - Stack Overflow

But if you just want to verify some web service response then SAM is a better for this kind of task. It has different kinds of monitors such as HTTP, SOAP etc.
