We have changed our website name and just wanted to rename the web transaction names on solarwinds. Also i don't want to disturb the existing data of the same website.
Is there any way to do the same ?

When you click on Manage Transaction and change tab to Recordings, there is Edit button. this button explain that to edit Recording you need to do it in Recorder, but it allows you to change name of a Recording.
But is there any way to change the name of transaction ?
What do you mean by name of transaction? Name of transaction consists of name of recording + where it is monitored from. So for example "www.google.com from player X", this format can't be change, but you can change name of recording.
Fahad, Like Peter said... From "Manage Recordings" window you can edit the name of the recording and create a new monitor at whatever locations you have setup, or you can open the recording and save it as another name, but will still need to create a new monitor. Creating the monitor gives you the new transaction name. If you are asking about changing the new website name within the recording that is a different set of steps. Please advise what you are wanting to do. Paul
