Custom Mibs

Does Orion let you import custom company MIBs? I recieved the MIBs via a text file and would like to know if I can import them. Thanks for the help...

You cannot import MIBs directly into the Orion MIB database. This import mechanism allows you to import the association of a MIB with a poller. The custom MIB poller can then be associated with a node or interface within your environment.

Login to your Customer Portal and download the latest MIB updates and then you can begin to assign custom mib pollers to nodes or interfaces-

submit the mibs in a support ticket to be compiled and added to the SW DB-

FWIW, I was able to add custom MIB polling for motherboard temps on our SuperMicro server board. I just plugged the full OID in instead of looking through the tree.
