Newbie Question: I'm trying to change the Apache2 Monitor and getting an MiB error

Hi all,

I've exported the Apache2 monitor hoping to stop it installing itself in /home/ and instead trying to change the path variable to be in /home/monitoruser or something - so I exported the script, found the one line bit of XML that makes up this config setting and changed it.

When i try to reimport I see:

Output: ==============================================

Cannot find module (APACHE2-MIB): At line 0 in (none)

APACHE2-MIB::totalAccess.0: Unknown Object Identifier

Statistic: 0

Am I missing something?

I'm not familiar with the template you're referencing. The Apache template that ships with APM does not use SNMP to collect its information. Did you download this template from the Thwack Content Exchange?

Hmm it looks like it shipped with APM, I haven't downloaded anything special? I have attached template I exported (had to zip it to meet upload rules)

The template you attached was not included in APM 4.2. It may be from a previous version of APM. I've attached the updated Apache template from APM 4.2 which does not use SNMP to gather its statistics.

Thanks aLTeReGo that's really interesting - we're running 4.2 but the latest version of the Apache script we have is tagged as coming from 2.0 - any idea why it might not have come with our install?
