Does Storage Manager integrate with NPM so that I could configure advanced alerts generated from Storage Manager?

There is a integration piece that provides a Storage tab in NPM, but the NPM alerting functionality will not cross-over.

So the if advanced alerts can not be set up to alert off of Storage manager is there another alerting alternative.
