Air Force issues with Dameware

We use Dameware all throughout the Air Force and we will be going to mandated PIV's where we have to use our CAC cards with our administrative accounts, which will prevent us from using Dameware. Is there a work around for this, or will there be a solution for this issue? If there isn't, we will no longer be able to use Dameware and the Air Force will not purchase any more licenses.

Can you share the work around?

We were able to get it to work with Win7 but not with Windows 8 or Windows 10. We can remote to a computer that is in use (run program as different user (not as admin, doesn't work)) and assist without admin rights. Only way to connect is RDP it looks like.

I have the same issue with using Dameware 11 on our machines and it works pretty well between our win 7 machines but we are slowly pushing to windows 10 and we can't remote from 7 to 10 at all to include using RDP its disabled dameware isn't disabled it just has lots of errors and won't connect any suggestions
