Hello people. I need to make an alert for an application monitor that I have in about 1500+ servers. Specifically its on 2 Win services. I need the alert to trigger when more than 5 of the servers have an alert for the monitor... Any Ideas. Thanks.
When you define the alert conditions, expand the "Advanced options" and check the "Enable complex conditions". Then back in the alert definition, it adds the exact thing you need.
Disclaimer: I have never actually used this option in a production setting.
Hmm, that disclaimer sounds like I am discouraging, you from using that option... I was indicating I'm not an expert on what that option does other than what the text says.
