hardened linux as Storage manager.

Hi,

WE just bought the STM last month. And I'm installing a new STM server on hardened linux, but the data collection from agents is not correct. do anyone have any information what I have to setup this linux server properly?

My company have to use this hardened linux as a STM Server. I know that hardened linux has blocked some port and processes to run. But I don't what port and process needed to be opened.

For required ports in Storage Manager

For Processes - check the Storage Manager Admin Guide.

I have SM installed on windows, for can't help you for the specific processes in linux.

We just added this handy dandy port diagram to the Admin Guide with the release of 5.6.2. Hopefully that should be some help in getting you up and running.
