FEATURE REQUEST - Active Directory Controller Polling Status False Alarm
oniram22
Currently under the Active Directory Domain Controller settings section of UDT you get an error message for the polling status even if everything is working fine. The error message you get is detailed below. We opened a case on the issue ,
#514868, and they confirmed it is a false alarm due to not enough permissions on the account to verify the account permissions are correct and that there is no easy fix. It seems that a real world test would be a better method for determining the polling status for that page. My concern with this is that now if there is a legitimate issue with the polling status to one of the active diretory servers that it'll be overlooked or obsucred by the false alarm message.
