Refresh values on rescan

I have a switch that I just replaced however under the properties for that device, the Device Vendor did not auto update from Cisco to Dell. How does the "Refresh values on rescan" work?

Hello Chaldz,

These values are updated if and when the system is rescanned using one of the following methods:

Add New Device -> Rescan (when prompted)
Scan network -> Previous Scan results -> Select the Device and click Rescan.

You can also manually update the Device's Properties by switching the "Property Refresh Policy" pull-down list to "Keep old values on Rescan" and then entering the desired values.
