Various "Management" Reports

Hi,

I need to create a report that lists the total number of events in 1 month, and per day. And how many nodes are being monitored. So for example what I want is:

                   "Alerts per day" "number of nodes"

01/02/2011   520                          72

 

Total number of events in month 3050

 

How would I go about achieving this, as my poor lil brain is not working at the moment.

it take a sql tsql script to get this going, at least for the number of alerts:
