Memory Leak in "Ping"

I've been running "ping" (not enhanced ping) for about 6-7 hours, and my CPU is maxed out.

Once I stopped the ping (but the program itself is still running) CPU went back down to 2%.

Anyone else notice this?

Running version 9.0 Ping version 9.0.6
