check_msa_hardware, a pearl plugin running as nagios plugin against some P2000 Storage, Is possible?

Hi

I´m trying to monitor some HP MSAs and P2000 boxes (Entry Level Storage), using a Nagios Plugin wrote in Pearl.

I have a couple of doubts, please let me enumerate them..

1. (The basic) Is possible, using one Linux Box, monitor severals other box? (Storage in this case)
2. If the first answer is yes, How I can pass parameters to my script? Because I think I'm gonna need pass at least the IP address to the nagios plugin...

Playing with the script I get this output when is executed in the Linux Box against one of the boxes

HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 FC: OK

But when I try to configure it as a Nagios Script Monitor I can´t get any output as you can see in the attchment

As seen in the screenshot you attached, a numeric value of some form or type must be returned as part of the output of the script. Message text is optional, but a numeric value is not. Here you can learn more about creating Nagios Script Monitors.
