I would like to create more than just a ping monitor for our windows 2003 2008 and Linux Machines that are running on ESX vSphere 4. Any help would be great

Perhaps the info on the old IPmonitor support portal is valid?support.ipmonitor.com/.../info.aspx
You can either poll and monitor a SNMP value or make ESX send IPmonitor traps, depends on what you want to do. Shame that Solarwinds still is not close to the level of support that the old supportportal had
