Has anyone had luck backing up a Juniper SA series SSL VPN appliance? I'm fairly new to working with Orion, but haven't had a great deal of difficulty until now. I searched for a device template, but couldn't find one.
I don't believe you can do this, as the SA does not support SSH for configuration management - only HTTPS. The only method I know of to back these up is to configure the SA to archive its configuration on an FTP or SCP server somewhere. I have ours configured to FTP its configs to our NCM server running FTP. It dumps the configs into the 'Config Archive' directory. It's not contained within NCM at all, but at least we know it's being backed up with everything else on the same server.
Has there been any movement on getting this to work with NCM? The SAs support HTTPS and some XML method as well. I really wish Orion wasn't so Cisco focused! Is this even a feature request? If not, can we have it added to the list please
