Viewing Node Status via Blackberry

Has anyone had any experience with pushing Nodes Status information out to a page that is easily viewable via a Blackberry or other Smartphone?

I get all of my alerts to my email with no issues, but every now and then the nerd in me would like the ability to glance at our customers networks that we monitor on my lovely CRACKBERRY. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

FYI- I tried Opera Mini and some other browers on my phone, but it seems the Orion Web interface is not mobile friendly.

There have been requests in the past for a feature in Orion to automatically generate mobile views for BlackBerrys and other smartphones. I don't recall if Solarwinds has committed themselves to this feature and if so, when it would be expected.

I've resorted to creating custom mobile views myself and using a separate account to access those views. Even then, it wasn't enough because I had to disable support for style sheets in the BlackBerry browser to force it to use the font face and font size that I specified in the options.

In the end, a workable solution but far from being elegant.

Here's the deal. I'm a blackberry guy myself, and I understand why it would be cool, but the problem is that the Blackberry browser is not standard and hard to work with. Apple's introduction of a real browser on the iPhone has put tremendous pressure on RIM (and everyone else) to get a real browser in their smart phones. From what I've read, RIM is going to introduce a much upgraded browser soon. If they deliver on a browser that follows standards, we'll get the same Orion support in the blackberry that we already get in the iPhone, giving customers smart phone support while leaving us free to deliver on other features. Given these upcoming changes in the blackberry browser, it's even less likely that we would build support for the current (seemingly) dead end browser.
