Hi dakota bayliss! Welcome to thwack! We're glad to have you join our community! If you haven't done so already, DanielleH created a really fun and informative Newbie Mission to help you get familiar and acquainted with our site, plus there is an extra bonus where this month you will earn 1500 points for completing the mission and you can spend it in our store for some fun SWAG! :-) Feel free to ask us your questions and we will do our best to provide you answers!
Welcome, welcome. Do the Newbie Mission as suggested. You're in the US so go for that SWAG

Welcome to Thwack Hope we make you feel welcome
Lol i just introduced my Co-worker to Thwack, b/c she'll be working with our Trial (and hopefully acquisition) of NTM, and got to run her through the on-boarding mission
That was nicely put cahunt. I imagined the voice of Michael Buffer when he says "Lets Get Ready to Rumble!" while reading your sentence.
Welcome dakota bayliss! As you can see, Thwack is very friendly and open community where we help each other with knowledge, experience, and a few stories from time to time. Like others have stated, going through the Newbie Mission will help you learn how navigate through the portal and using Thwack to its fullest potential. And feel free to reach out if you have any questions, I only charge 1 LB of Gummy Bears per issue.
He get's his voice lessons from me.... just don't tell anyone i said that... non disclosure and all.. haha
Hi, Dakota!
We come to Thwack to share our gripes and complaints and ideas and suggestions about SolarWinds products. Chances are that if you have a question about how to do something with one of your Orion modules, or Kiwi, or the Engineer's Tool Set, someone here has had the same question--and had it answered. Think of this as an Open Source community for all things related to SolarWinds products.
Which modules do you have, how big is your network, how long have you had Solar Winds apps, and which apps/tools/modules do you run? Feel free to reply--or not reply; there's no offense for ignoring someone--we know how it is. And keep PCI and your own corporate policies in mind, too. Use common sense, because it's the web; don't post information about yourself or your company that might be used maliciously.
But if you have thoughts that need consideration by others, questions about what your products can and can't do, or simply want to mine the Thwack history of posts and stories for helpful hints and tips, you're in the right spot.
And not to take anything away from SolarWinds Support, but if you open a Support Ticket with them to get an answer to a question, and you post that same question here at the same time, I'll bet you get the answer here before Support responds. Maybe, maybe not, but that's been my experience much of the time.
Swift Packets!
Rick S.
hello!
