Errors and Discards Problem

Hi,
Can you please tell me where does Orion capture or get values for Input/Output Errors and Discards, stats from router? We have cisco routers installed in our network. Please tell me from where does ORION get values for these(Receive Errors, Receive Discards, Transmit Errors and Transmit Discards).
