Is there a way to have 4 or 5 columns on the summary page?
Is there also a way to have multiple summary pages? Maybe even have it based on the users name.
yes you can have multiple summaries. you will need to go to the manage views in your admin settings and create the summary views you want with whatever limitations you need for the user you have created it for. Then, after you save it, you will need to go to your accounts, and edit the user account it was created for and make it the default summary view. As to the columns, I think you can only have 3.
Hope this helped!
Thanks Chrystal! I'll try to setup the multipule summary pages tomorrow.
To bad i can't have more columns I have a lot of wasted space on my 50' tv in the IT room.
well if you like, you can just make your columns wider, and that will allow you to incorporate some large maps perhaps or let your details expand enough for some things to be on one line instead of 2 or 3. Just some ideas, but there are ways for you to take up your space. You can even use weather maps that constantly change for your node maps, for instance.
You could also play with frames/iframes as well. I had a custom page that I called to be my main page. something like main.htm called ltop.htm, lbottom.htm, ctop,etc...
Nice thing about this is if you set it up right, each frame will reload in its own time, so you "top" map is never fully blank while reloading (which is why I did this in the first place when 10 originally came out).
