Anyone customize their Event color codes?

See attached screenshot, example of Event Summary, Last 7 Days.

The event background colors are controlled via an Events.css file located in the IIS web root directory. There is an additional "Events.css" found in /Orion/Styles/, but that one does not appear to be used. Each event has a number code associated to it. For example, an "Alert Triggered" is Event 5000. "Alert Reset" is event 5001. The background colors of events have never really appealed to me, short of the DOWN, UP, and Managed colors. Has anyone customized their event backgrounds? If so, mind sharing what choices you went with? I've been tinkering around and can't seem to make up my mind.

Also, anyone customize the icons? I've never liked the fact that the same Icon is used for multiple purposes. i.e. the "Alert Reset" and "Monitoring Started" both have the triangular lightening bolt. "Alert Triggered", "Node Changed", and "Interface Changed" all have the triangular exlamation point, etc. I've been searching for an icon set that can distinctly classify each event, so it's easier to visually parse through a large event table and quickly see items of interest. (at least, graphically)

Anyone modify their icon base?

For the record, I really hate the "Interface Disappeared" question mark. It makes me shudder every time I see it.

To make alerts go green in the event monitor i did this:

UPDATE [SolarWindsOrion].[dbo].[EventTypes] SET BackColor = 12648384

WHERE EventType = 5001

To make alerts go red in the event monitor i did this:

UPDATE [SolarWindsOrion].[dbo].[EventTypes] SET BackColor = 12632319

WHERE EventType = 5000

EventType 5000 is a generated alert.

EventType 5001 is a generated cleared alert.

hope this helps.

You can also change the icon type this way too. I believe the CSS has been obsoleted entirely for this one.
