Thwack Site Navigation - No so good

I've been on board for at least three site redesigns and I still want for the old days of the traditional forum layout. All these great big images just take up crazy amounts of space and to many things are so deeply hidden it takes forever to find them.

My latest beef? I'm just trying to find the Labs - Alert and Report. I've gone through all the navigation buttons on the top of the page:

No luck.

So I expanded my search to the Browse button:

Hey that looks promising. So I sort by name and I see two pages of results. Not bad. Now to just find the reports lab!

So I click the next button to go to page two and ...... hey wait a minute now there are more pages!

Pages and pages later.... Finally I find both the Report Lab and the Labs group. Why so hard?

And Yes I can search for it and find it, but really, shouldn't site navigation be easier, especially if I'm just poking around looking for what I don't know.

We are discussing our next iteration of the global navigation as we have come to realize a few pain points, many of which you mentioned above, that need to be addressed. Would you be willing to participate or provide feedback when we start wire frames and such?

SO.... WHERE are the labs now?

SolarWinds Lab- you can use the general search bar, typing in SolarWinds Lab. You should see the "place" appear in the search results. I've added the link for you, and you can bookmark it for future, easier reference. HTH!

Yes the search bar works amazing. I use it all the time and for the most part can find the information I am looking for. I love Thwack. Very informative site.
