Is there a way to monitor this Layer 2 status on an PRI?

ISDN Serial0/0/0:23 interface

        dsl 0, interface ISDN Switchtype = primary-ni

    Layer 1 Status:

        ACTIVE

    Layer 2 Status:

        TEI = 0, Ces = 1, SAPI = 0, State = TEI_ASSIGNED

Layer 2 Status:

        TEI = 0, Ces = 1, SAPI = 0, State = AWAITING_ESTABLISHMENT

The PRI is up but not functional because of a carrier issue.

You can set up a universal device poller to monitor the OID for the ISDN.

That looks like a Cisco Gateway.  Try this one:

ISDN-MIB (RFC 2127, OID isdnLapdOperStatus (.1.3.6.1.2.1.10.20.1.3.4.1.2):

isdnLapdOperStatus OBJECT-TYPE

SYNTAX INTEGER {

inactive(1),

l1Active(2),

l2Active(3)

}

for TEI_ASSIGNED, we return l1Active(2), for MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED

l2Active(3).
