We have finally succeeded in getting NetFlow from a Cisco 6509, but the data would not show as received until the Loopback address was added a the source.
I enabled NetFlow on three source interfaces from the command line that were already being monitored by Orion. But, I could not get NTA to show data in the Last Received column under NetFlow Sources until I also added the loopbck as a source. After that, the data is shown as coming from the correct three interfaces.
Is this normal? What does the loopback have to do with proper NetFlow functionality?
Any help appreciated.
