With a limited-permissions monitoring account, we got a bit sick of pressing buttons from within Solarwinds after installing an Exchange CU, to restore monitoring. The following is done on the server(s) you just installed the Exchange CUs to.
Make the following changes in the IIS managment console, on the Exchange server:
- Add PSLanguageMode: FullLanguage to Default Web Site, PowerShell App Settings
- Recycle MSExchangePowerShellAppPool app pool - or just run issreset
