dependency within a node

One of our nodes is a Cisco 6518.

Within the interfaces, our unit reports vlan 2162 as an example.

Vlan 2162 resides on a ten-gig interface and reports as a single gig interface -- hence problem 1

     I did customize the bandwidth on the interface. However the configured interface speed still shows 1G

     Actual bandwidth is dynamic since multiple vlans reside on the physical interface.

Question 2, is there a way to have a "dependency" linked to the 10G interface within the same node?

Dependencies seem to be node only specific. Is this correct?

I think this had to be posted in Network Performance Monitor forums not Network Configuration Manager.

1. Cisco routed VLAN interface bandwidth is 1Gb by default. I am assuming you customized the bandwidth on VLAN 2162 by editing vlan2162 interface from Orion NPM? I just tried that to test and it worked for me. I have NPM v10.

2. You can use an interface as a parent object in dependency configuration. Choose "interfaces" instead of "Nodes" in the "show only" drop down list.
