I have been trying to automate some graphical reports from our Orion system to run once a month.
one of our Database guys has been looking at this and would like to ask the following question.
“We’ve had various Report requests but our SQL Server DBA can only deliver the Reports by creating specific Objects within the Database. We have been assured by the DBA that all existing Objects (Tables, Views and Stored Procedures) are not being modified in any way. Does anyone know if the creation of ad-hoc Objects within the Database is permitted without compromising any Support?”.
Not having a clue about SQL ive been unable to help. Could anyone please advise.
