Can I bring my IPDB (tools IPAM) into my IPAM module?

I have 1400 subnets, all that need descriptions. The descriptions are already in the tools IPAM on a server. Is there anyway I can get that data into the IPAM module? We REALLY don't want to have to type 1400 descriptions again....

Have you looked at the help file for Importing IP Address from Toolset?

Obviously you could run custom SQL to manually dump the data in (but you would need to key off of the subnet address).

So, your saying that I can open the IPDB with SQL studio and manipulate it that way?

I'll see if I can free up one of my DB admins here.... not an easy task....

I'm not an SQL guy at all.... Maybe a good place to start studying :-)
