I am new to custom pollers so please bear with me. I have deployed around 200 UPS to remote sites. And I have created custom pollers to monitor the input line voltage and battery status. I have also created a cutom alert that sends an email / page to the on call tech anytime one of the UPS' looses utility power and goes on battery backup. The problem I am having is that I can not get the node name or IP address to show up in the alert. Without this information there is no way to tell which UPS just lost power. We use the remote site name as part of the name for all of the UPS' so I would prefer to have this information. Can someone give me a hint on which variable ${ } I can use to get some other descriptive text into the alert? Any help would be greatly appreciated
