WPM only ships with Orion Platform 2015.1.3 so doesn't work with EOC 2.0

We are upgrading to EOC 2.0 and we are running WPM on a stand alone instance because we have around 2000 synthetic transactions running so we wanted to seperate it out from our other monitoring. Unfortunately WPM only comes with an older version of Orion, is there an upgrade path to bring a stand alone WPM instance up to Orion 2017? We have 5 other Solarwinds instances and they are all a mix of SAM, NPM, NCM, WPM and DPA so getting everything consolidated into EOC would help out a lot.

The old EOC version was not as useful as the new one so we actually stopped using it a couple of years ago but maintained the license so we are hoping to get better usage from v2.0 then we did the old one. This is a hold up to bringing it on line in production.

Any ideas on how to get Orion updated on this instance?

We are working on this for the next release. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a timeline, but it is a part of the effort for the next release.

As an interim workaround, couldn't you install an eval of another compatible product like NPM/SAM that has the updated core and then uninstall it? I've not run into this scenario myself but I believe it might do the job to get your core up to a compatible version.

Nice to hear WPM is getting updates. I was starting to think it was going to be EOL soon. Hopefully a good API update is part of that package. (Hint, Hint )

WPM has been tested from an integration standpoint, so that should work.
