Expect script

Is it possible for this to be done in solar winds. Port 10023 is not responding and the devices it is on are only monitored via ICMP. The port is a TCP port.

Is it possible to write an expect script that will telnet to the switch on 10023 and perform a simple Question / Answer:

Question: mode CI

Expected Answer: “Mode is CI”

That would be a great way of resolving this problem.

Any ideas?
