Hello,
I have about a hundred databases that I need to monitor. I've already installed the Oracle OLE DB Provider and successfully configured one ADO (SQL Connect) monitor to connect to one database.
However, since I have so many databases, I would like to create a monitor that uses tnsping and looks at the tnsnames.ora file. That way, all I have to do is enter in the database name when I first create the monitor.
The way I see it, with the ADO (SQL Connect) monitor I have to create a credential for every database that has the username and password.. For my situation cumbersome to say the least.
Has anyone done something similar that they could share?
Thanks!
