Triggered Alerts Resource

Hi All,

I want to create a couple of resources that display current alerts but i want to only display a particular alert type per resource

eg. All CPU alerts are under one resource and all interface alerts are under another... and so on....

Any one have any ideas??

Create the reports in Report Writer and add Report Writer resources to a current view or create your own view.

Unfortunatly the Report Writer option isnt possible as we dont put all our alerts in to the event log.

Any other way to do this?

Can't you just create a new report of type "Active Alerts" and start your report this way? Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think it has to be in the event log to report on Alerts.

Sorry i missed the new alert as i tried to use the exisiting triggered alerts report.

Having a problem creating the new report though. Ive added the Node name, alert time and alert message to replicate the existing resource but running that i dont get any results at all. This has no filters running as i would have thought id would pull all the active alerts to start with.

Any ideas?
