Set up monitor to check for a word on a website

Hello all,

I want to set up a monitor in IPMonitor to check for a word on an http site such as the word welcome and also a word on a customer website after an account logs in such as logout. Is this possible with IPMonitor.

Any help is very appreciated!

Thanks laffen. For some reason this just won't work. I thought I had it all set up correctly but keep getting the error The remote device timed out before sending a response

Hi Carroll,

Use the steps within the following article to see what ipMonitor is getting back:

The other option is to open a CMD prompt on the ipMonitor host and simply the following commands:

telnet www.yourdomain.com 80{Enter}

GET /url HTTP/1.0{Enter}

Host: www.yourdomain.com{Enter}

{Enter}

This should return the host headers and the body of the page.
