I have seen a few posts about Solarwinds not working with Cisco's new XR software. I have not seen an official answer about this on any of the threads. Does anyone know if this is currently being addressed?
Thanks,
Jamie
Jamie,
We are all in the same boat on this one.... Out of 8 priority fixes for VNQM 4.2 Solarwinds laid out back in early April, this was number 7. They seem to be waiting until their product loses much of its relevance in the Cisco network arena to address this one unfortunately. They actual ranked making prettier zoom-in graphs over fixing this issue .
Hold the goat very still so they can sneak up behind it
It's very true IPSLA support in VNQM doesn't catch up latest & greatest Cisco IOS versions (and variants). Sadly, the implementation of the newly released devices and IPSLA is complex and and we will focus on that once we release SIP trunk capacity and call monitoring for VoIP. The IPSLA support is essence of VNQM, I know it and I hear you guys you need that. I can tell you the better IPSLA support is something we already researched and we're ready to work on for the future of VNQM.
Does anybody know which Cisco IOS versions are working with the present IPSLA from Solarwinds?
We were using 122-33.SRE8 config and IPSLA worked fine with that. We upgraded to Cisco 9001 XR over the summer, and now we don't have anything.
