Orion support matrix for vitual machines.

Question

Hi:

1. I see that VMware 3.0 and lower are not supported... what about 3.0.2? (ie. is it considered a 3.0?).

2. We have VM's in Xen (3),  MS Hyper-V(R2)  I am unable to find if these are supported.  Does anyone know?

Some of our VMware nodes will not add correctly. When I try to add them they SNMP sysname they set is inccorrect (I think is the machine name for the console or mgmt station).  Sounds like I'm out of luck regardin these boxes.... :(

#1 - for NPM this will change with our next version as we will be using the VMWare API

#2 - you should be able to gather stats off of these with APM
