.net 3.5 required ? any way around this

I am attempting to install a Evaluation copy of WPM on a test box, it states it needs to have .Net 3.5 to install.

Is there anyway around this as the box already has .Net 4.52 installed. Due to my companies security policy we are not allowed to install any .Net version below 4.52.

Just curious as to whether there is a way around this requirement or since .Net 3.5 is basically 10 years old is there plans to update the .Net platform of this module.

Hello Jeff,

unfortunately there are still some parts of the product in .NET 3.5 and since 4.x branch is not just upgrade of 3.x branch you need .NET 3.5 installed in order to run WPM. We are migrating product to .NET 4.5 and most parts are already migrated but currently available version is still not fully there.
