Alert Suppression and Time of Day

Does anyone know how to suppress alerts for a specific day of the month (i.e. 2nd Sunday)? Put another way, can you activate an alert for everyday except a specific day of the month (i.e. 2nd Sunday)? PLEASE HELP!!! Getting inundated with alerts when my iSeries systems are backed up and the 30 - 60 interfaces on these boxes bounce.

Hi,

You can't get as granular as the second Sunday of the month, but you can set the days and times for the suppression of the alert. For example, you could suppress every Sunday from 1 to 4 a.m. or something similar. Does this help?

Yeah, I currently have some alerts setup to ignore a particular day of the week,but what I really need is the granularity of a particular day of the month. I didnt know if there was any "backdoor sql'ing" I could do to get this functionality.

I am trying to set an alert suppression so we don't get alerted about scheduled reboots on a Saturday and Sunday during a particular time window. How do I do that? I have set the Alert Suppression to choose the servers I want, but don't know how to suppress during the day and time window.
