AppInsight for SQL not listed

Running SAM 6.6.0

I am struggling with why, when listing resources, AppInsight for SQL doesn't list on some servers and lists of others.

I searched and found some articles that seem to point to named pipes and TCP connections but I have compared this between one that IS working and those that aren't.

Any idea on what log I can check to see why this condition exists?

No, all SQL servers are 2008 R2 and running SQL 2008 R2.

We opened a ticket and support had us manually assign the template so we are now working.

The template will only show if the sql instance is sql2008r2 or greater . What versions are not being picked up

I ran into this issue. From this post:AppInsight for SQL - The process was not found.

Check: "local security policy, local policies, user rights assignment and added my monitoring account to the "debug programs" policy."
